What we store:

Your email address
Emergency contact emails
Check-in frequency and time preferences
Last check-in timestamp

What we DON'T store:

No logs of check-ins or access
No IP addresses
No tracking or analytics
No passwords (email verification only)

Security measures:

Server hosted in Sweden with full disk encryption
SELinux security hardening
Session tokens expire after 30 minutes
Email provider (Postmark) only retains emails for 7 days
All data deleted when you stop the service
Open source code for transparency

Jurisdiction: Server in Sweden, operated from US. Provider (Finland). This makes legal requests complex and requires international cooperation.

Note: Built for reliability and security, but like any service, depends on email and internet connectivity. Have backup plans.
